Information for Parents

What we think ...

As a parent or school, we generally want the best for our children. It is assumed that a part of wanting the best for our children would include being able to give them a good start in life. Many parents and schools would agree that a good level of education is one of the areas of development that can be attributed to having a 'good start in life'. Being well educated and skilled can open up many exciting and rewarding opportunities.

Without a doubt, a child's education is important and at ACS we realise this. The teachers we supply both to schools and for the purpose of home tuition are thoroughly interviewed and are registered on a stringent basis. We aim to weed out, at a very early stage, those who lack the core traits associated with being a good teacher. By doing this we are able to ensure that only those who can demonstrate professionalism, sound knowledge in their area regarding subject and educational practice, and those who are motivated join our team.

We want the best for our students, and in order to achieve this, we must supply good teachers.

When we interview we examine in detail -

  • Suitability for the post.
  • Academic credentials and qualifications.
  • CRB/ List 99 clearance.
  • At least one personal reference and two work related references.

We can assure that we will have completed the interview process to the best of our ability, taken up references and seen documentation relating to academic qualifications, CRB and List 99 clearance.
